Anatahan (released in the U.S. as "Josef von Sternberg's Ana-Ta-Han"), the 1954 Josef von Sternberg (he not only directed the movie, he photographed it, wrote the screenplay, and did the voiceover narration) Japanese World War II (WWII) melodrama (about Japanese marines stranded on an island, who don't know the war is over) starring Akemi Negishi, Kuroemon Onoe, Suganume, Jun Fujikawa, and Josef von Sternberg
