Smith crime murder mystery detective melodrama ("Who will be the killer's next victim?"; "Startling! Baffling!"; "From the novel by Mignon G. Eberhart"; a rich banker tells a group of people that one of them has embezzled money, and soon after, he is found dead, a supposed "suicide"; but his daughter doesn't believe it, and she asks a detective to help solve the case) starring Dick Purcell, Ann Sheridan, Anne Nagel, William Hopper, Anthony Averill, and Trevor Bardette. Note that this movie was made the same year that Ann Sheridan was in "Angels with Dirty Faces" (it was at the time when Warner Bros. was putting her in dozens of movies, because they did not yet realize that she had the potential to be a major star!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card was lightly folded in half once in each direction and there are creases along the folds. The card has not darkened nearly as much as most Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period, and it is not at all fragile either, both of which are big pluses! Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
