An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) I Was a Teenage Frankenstein (released in England as "Teenage Frankenstein"), the 1957 Herbert L. Strock monster horror thriller ("Body of a boy! Mind of a monster! Soul of an unearthly thing!"; about a professor who animates a dead teenager who then goes on a killing spree, a clever updating of the Frankenstein story to match the current teen movie craze!) starring Whit Bissell, Phyllis Coates, Robert Burton, Gary Conway (in the title role as the monster), and George Lynn NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). good. The poster had paper loss at each crossfold and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. There were some paper loss to the left and right of the top crossfold and creases and tears along the foldlines. The poster was extremely well restored, and looks great, and I doubt many people would be aware of the restoration unless it was specifically pointed out to them. Learn More about condition grades
