Eddie Murphy is a black African American film and television actor and stand up comedian from the 1980s to the present. Like many other great comic actors, his career began on TV's "Saturday Night Live" (at age 19!). Some of his movies include: Beverly Hills Cop (and its sequels), 48 Hours, Trading Places, Dreamgirls (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and Coming to America. He also has ten children!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Eddie Murphy! In the movie Dreamgirls, he plays an early rock 'n' roller called "James Thunder Early". This is an actual screen-used prop poster that appears in the distance backstage early in the movie. After the scene was filmed, Eddie Murphy personally autographed it for a member of the production team and gave it to her. Later, our consignor purchased the poster from that member of the production team. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. The poster itself measures 12" x 18". It was nicely matted and the entire display measures 16" x 20".
