An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 13 3/4" [28 x 35 cm]) (Learn More) After Midnight, the 1927 Monta Bell silent romantic crime melodrama ("Scenario by Lorna Moon from the story by Monta Bell"; about a cigarette girl who meets a crook, and tries to rehabilitate him, but she gets discouraged and she decides to emulate her gold-digging sister, but then she gets drunk and is in a car crash with her sister, and the sister is killed, and that sobers her up and she and her ex-con boyfriend see the light and decide to start over and live a righteous life) starring Norma Shearer, Lawrence Gray, Gwen Lee, Eddie Sturgis, and Philip Sleeman NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been trimmed, but not in the usual way. It was surely part of an uncut sheet of eight lobby cards, and someone trimmed them by hand, somewhat unevenly, which resulted in this one (and the three others we are auctioning) measuring 11" x 13 3/4" [28 x 35 cm], with slightly uneven borders, because they did not trim them exactly correct. One could correct the slight trim by making the card perfectly 11" x 14", or one could leave it as it is. Note that we have only previously auctioned five lobby cards from this movie! Now we have been consigned three scene cards, which we are auctioning in three separate auctions! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. All the blank borders were partially trimmed (only blank white paper is affected; see above), but the card is otherwise in nice condition!
