An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 28" x 41") (Learn More) All American News!, the 1940s All-American black African American newsreel (All-American was a company that made all-black movies in the 1940s, and they must have also made newsreels that were shown in all-black theaters with news of interest to black African Americans; given that we have seen newsreel posters that are numbered in the high 200's, they must have made a great number of these newsreels!). If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is Volume 6 Issue No. 264 from this newsreel with the headlines, "Duke Slater Addresses Peoples Forum", "National Vets Annual Meeting", "Nurse Sole Heir to Fortune", "and other exclusive news events". Also note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41". Finally, note that this poster was mailed to the "Regent Theatre" in Youngstown, Ohio, and the address label was pasted directly on the back of the poster! Another label on the back of the poster notes that the poster was being sent "collect" via the "Railway Express Agency" from Chicago, Illinois, and that "If shipment arrives without delivery sheet or delivery sheet is mutilated make substitute delivery sheet". Note that neither of these labels have much effect on the front (there is a jagged series of tears running across the center of the poster just above the middle foldline, but there is little paper loss). Normally, one might think these labels on the back are a detraction, but in this case, I think they are a clear cool addition to this poster! Condition: good. Learn More about condition grades
