She is probably best remembered for her role as Jessica Fletcher in TV's "Murder She Wrote". Some of her movies include: Gaslight (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), National Velvet, The Picture Of Dorian Gray (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Manchurian Candidate (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Beauty and the Beast. Oddly, she looked older than her years in her earliest movies, but then she pretty much stopped aging, for several decades! She passed away in 2022 at the age of 96. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Angela Lansbury! Our consignor met Miss Lansbury in the early 1970s when she appeared in a summer stock play, and she kindly provided this autograph for him on page 49, the page showing Something For Everyone, one of her movies (see our image). Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads.
