An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Whispering Skull, the 1944 Elmer Clifton cowboy western (part western and part mystery, the movie concerns a mysterious murderer known as the "Whispering Skull", who can kill men silently!) starring The Texas Rangers (Tex Ritter, Dave O'Brien, and Guy Wilkerson), Denny Burke, Henry Hall, I. Stanford Jolley, and George Morrell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds and paper loss at the middle crossfold. There were creases, smudges, and a couple of tiny tears in the foldlines. There were pinholes below the top crossfold and many pinholes around the edges of the poster. There were some scuffs in the solid dark background area between the men at the left and right of the bottom of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did not completely restore all of the above defects.
