An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More)

The Battle of Russia, the 1943 Frank Capra & Anatole Litvak World War II (WWII) military propaganda documentary ("The United States Government Presents 'The Battle of Russia'"; "Produced by Special Service Division Army Service Forces - War Department"; "In cooperation with The United States Army Signal Corps"; "Released Through the Office of War Information"; "Distributed by 20th Century-Fox for the War Activities Committee - Motion Picture Industry") featuring Adolf Hitler, Kaiser Wilhelm II, King Boris III, King Michael, General Kosakov and Benito Mussolini. This film was part of a series of documentaries commissioned by the United States government during World War II whose purpose was to show American soldiers the reason for U.S. involvement in the war. Later on they were also shown to the general U.S. public to persuade them to support American involvement in the war. Original movie paper of any kind from many of these movies is EXTREMELY rare!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 insert posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts).

Condition: good to very good. The poster has darkened slightly and it has a few tears of varying lengths around the edges (partially repaired with conservation tape from the back). It is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
