She is probably best remembered for her role as Jessica Fletcher in TV's "Murder She Wrote". Some of her movies include: Gaslight (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), National Velvet, The Picture Of Dorian Gray (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Manchurian Candidate (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Beauty and the Beast. Oddly, she looked older than her years in her earliest movies, but then she pretty much stopped aging, for several decades! She passed away in 2022 at the age of 96. Important Added Info: Note that this item, which consists of two "frame enlargements" of Miss Lansbury from "The Picture of Dorian Gray", which were nicely matted, and Miss Lansbury signed the center of the mat, making for a wonderful display! The display measures 6 1/4" x 9", and will look great framed on the new owner's wall. Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer, but he does not have a "certificate of authenticity". Condition: very good.
