An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 12" x 15" [30 x 38 cm]) (Learn More)

Gigolette (also released as "Gigolettes"), the 1935 Charles Lamont New York City nightclub romantic love triangle prostitution crime melodrama ("from the story by Gordon Kahn"; about a woman who moves to New York City and is forced to work as a "gigolette", which along with "taxi dancer" were basically 1930s euphemisms for prostitute, and she gets involved with the owner of the club and a rich patron) starring Adrienne Ames, Ralph Bellamy, Donald Cook, Robert Armstrong, and Harold Waldridge

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and it now measures 12" x 15" [30 x 38 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: fair. The window card was found inside a frame and it had been trimmed to 12" x 15", which affected the left end of the title and part of the top and right of the art. There is water staining scattered in the top of the card, more so on the right. There are two tears near the bottom center of the card. Because so much of the art and title is present, I could well imagine many collectors framing and displaying this just as it is, but please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored!
