An Original Vintage Theatrical Jumbo Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Change of Heart, the 1934 John G. Blystone New York City romantic love triangle melodrama ("Together again!"; "Lovers again"; "America's sweethearts are reunited!"; "From the novel 'Manhattan Love Song' by Kathleen Norris"; about four college graduates, two men and two women who are couples, living in Manhattan who have ups and downs, and there are romantic misunderstandings that lead each couple to suspect their mates of infidelity with their best friends) starring Janet Gaynor, Charles Farrell, James Dunn, Ginger Rogers (4th billed!), Jane Darwell, and Gloria Stuart. Note that one of the more memorable bits of trivia about this movie is that Ginger Rogers plays the secondary role of the girlfriend of the hero's best friend, one of the last times she would have such a supporting role, and also Shirley Temple has a small appearance as one of the airplane passengers at the beginning of the movie!

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this jumbo window card!

Note that this is one of 7 jumbo window cards we are currently auctioning (in separate auctions). They come from a very longtime collector who consigned 13 of them to us. The first 6 were auctioned in our March 2019 Major Auction, and the remaining 7 are being auctioned here. We have no other jumbo window cards, and given how incredibly rare they are, it might be quite a while before we auction more of them! Note that jumbo window cards are on a heavy paper stock like regular window cards of this era, and they absolutely cannot be rolled and must be sent in a large flat package that measures approximately 24" x 30".

Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package. Most of these items absolutely can only be sent in flat packages, and could not possibly be rolled into a tube. Some of them might SEEM like they could be rolled in a tube, like a half-sheet, but they can't. The reason these items are in this auction is specifically because they CAN'T be rolled (because rolling any of them would damage them, even if they somehow can be rolled). So please bear in mind that this item must be sent in a LARGE flat package (the size of the package will depend on the size of the item when ready for shipping), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it. IN THE CASE OF EXTREMELY LARGE FLAT ITEMS, THE SHIPPING COST WILL BE VERY HIGH, SO PLEASE DO NOT BID WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT THAT ADDED SHIPPING AMOUNT, AND INCLUDE THAT AMOUNT IN WHAT YOU BID (so if you would pay $150, but the shipping is likely $100, then only bid $50). And those who live outside the U.S. and who do not have a U.S. address to ship to SHOULD NOT BID AT ALL ON EXTREMELY LARGE FLAT ITEMS, BECAUSE THEY COST HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS TO SEND OUTSIDE THE U.S.

Condition: fair to good. The card has nail holes around the edges and one in the center. It was partially folded across the middle, and there are rough creases in that area, but the card can't be completely folded. There are some smudges and stains scattered throughout the card, more so around the edges. Obviously, this card has substantial defects, which could, of course, be restored, but bear them in mind before bidding on this extremely rare jumbo window card.
