Alyn Warren (in the title role as Myles Standish), Joseph J. Dowling, and Sam De Grasse. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Mitchell Leisen Important Added Info: Note that this costume drawing (which is a one of a kind original drawn by the costume designer for this movie) has been personally autographed (signed) by the artist, Mitchell Leisen (there is a label on the back describing Leisen). Leisen was the art director for this movie, but a decade later, he would have a major career as one of Hollywood's foremost directors! Note that in February of 2023, we auctioned four similar costume drawings, from the same consignor, but all different movies. Those four auctioned for between $377 and $825, and we are currently auctioning five, in five separate auctions, that are similar in quality to those previous four! Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the large cardboard backing that this drawing was mounted on, but only in the edges. One could choose to trim it so that it would not be an issue, or the large black borders could be matted over. Learn More about condition grades
