An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided Teaser One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 40") (Learn More) Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, the 1999 George Lucas science fiction (sci-fi) outer space adventure epic prequel ("Every Saga Has A Beginning."; "Every Journey Has A First Step... "; "One hero One destiny"; "One force One choice"; "One rebel One teacher"; "One love One quest"; "One mind One mission"; "One businessman One gambler"; "One truth One hate"; "Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."; the first of a trilogy of prequels to the original three episodes of the "Star Wars" series) starring Liam Neeson (as Qui-Gon Jinn), Ewan McGregor (as Obi-Wan Kenobi), Natalie Portman (as Queen Padme Amidala), Jake Lloyd (as Anakin Skywalker), Ian McDiarmid (as Senator Palpatine), Anthony Daniels (as C-3PO), Kenny Baker (as R2-D2), Pernilla August, Ray Park (as Darth Maul), Frank Oz (as the voice of Yoda), Ahmed Best (as the voice of Jar Jar Binks), and Andy Secombe (as the voice of Watto) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Drew Struzan Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare teaser one-sheet (note the complete lack of credits). Also note that this is a double-sided poster. In the 1990s movie posters were sometimes made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Also note that this is a rare teaser one-sheet (note the lack of credits on the poster). Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing. After 1980, it quickly became standard for posters to never be folded, and were shipped to theaters rolled in tubes. But this made it far more likely for posters to pick up minor (or major) defects, and it can be difficult to find an unfolded poster from the 1980s in excellent condition. Condition: very good to fine. two tiny 1/4" cuts in the extreme right of the bottom border and two partial tiny cuts in the extreme left of the bottom border (they are really not at all noticeable or distracting except when staring right at them); there are a few minor creases throughout the poster Learn More about condition grades
