Note that this movie, together with Francois Truffaut's "Les quatre cents coups" began the French "New Wave", which revolutionized film-making, not only in France, but the world over! Prior to paperbacking, the poster had been folded once in each direction and had some wear on both foldlines. It had a tear in the left of the top border in Belmondo's hair, and some creases and smudges around the edges, with a few in the white background areas.
