An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14 1/4" x 20 1/4" [36 x 51 cm]) (Learn More) II Sole Sorge Ancora (released in the U.S. in 1949 as "Outcry"), the 1946 Aldo Vergano Italian World War II (WWII) military melodrama (about Italy in 1945, right after Mussolini was killed, and how the Germans occupied part of Italy, so there was a Civil War between the occupying Germans and the resisting Italians) starring Elli Parvo, Lea Padovani, Massimo Serato, Victoria Duse, and Carlo Lizzani. What a difference a year makes! Open City was made in 1945 right at the end of the war, and it was released internationally to much acclaim. This movie was made a year later, and was not released internationally until 1949, and while it did receive some acclaim for its accurate depiction of the end of the Nazi occupation in Italy just one year earlier, the movie was soon forgotten, and today, it is only remembered by major film buffs. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this Belgian poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/4" x 20 1/4" [36 x 51 cm]. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There is marker writing in the blank area at top.
