Date Sold 12/21/2021Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 5 1/2" x 8" [14 x 20 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) To Have and To Hold, the 1916 George Melford silent adventure romantic melodrama starring Mae Murray ("In an elaborate picturization of Mary Johnston's novel"), Wallace Reid, Tom Forman, Raymond Hatton, Robert N. Bradbury (billed as "WM. Bradbury"), James Neill, Bob Gray, Lucien Littlefield, Camille Astor, and Bob Fleming. Note that Mae Murray is billed over Wallace Reid, and that was apparently because she had just been signed to star "as a Lasky star on the Paramount Program", and they gave her top billing over Wallace Reid "a favorite of the screen"! Also note that this is one of the movies created during the time when Paramount Pictures was first beginning! At that time, it was solely a loose connection between top studios, who distributed together, and their films were noted as being "released on the Paramount Program". Finally, note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. Learn More about condition grades
