Northwest Passage ("Book 1 - Rogers' Rangers"), the 1940 King Vidor Revolutionary War era adventure thriller ("Keep away! I'll take care of him"; "Many thanks... for this errand of mercy!"; based on the classic novel by Kenneth Roberts; this was intended to be the first of a trilogy of movies based on the classic novel "Northwest Passage", and was advertised as "Book 1 - Rogers' Rangers", but the second and third movies were not made. This was partially due to author Kenneth Roberts not being happy with this first movie, and partially due to the difficulties of filming on location, and the movie did not do well enough at the box office to warrant making the sequels) starring Spencer Tracy (as Richard Rogers), Robert Young, Walter Brennan, Ruth Hussey, and Nat Pendleton

Condition: good to very good. There was tiny paper loss in the upper right blank border and someone taped a piece of thin cardboard to the back of that area. There are some faint stains and pinholes around the edges.
