An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Boy and the Wolf, the 1943 Rudolf Ising animated animation cartoon (produced by Fred Quimby; based on the Aesop fable "The Boy Who Cried Wolf", except in this cartoon, the boy has a dog that he keeps tricking into thinking a wolf is coming, because the dog is deathly afraid of the wolf, and then the wolf really does come). If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had many small tears and tiny bits of paper loss scattered down the vertical fold, and some parts of it had tape on the back. There were some creases and tiny bits of paper loss on the horizontal folds. There were many pinholes and smudges around the edges, with a few small tears. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
