First Monday in October, the 1981 Ronald Neame U.S. Supreme Court Justice judge legal lawyer courtroom comedy ("In the Supreme Court, there are only eight of them against all of her."; "Based Upon the Play by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee") starring Walter Matthau, Jill Clayburgh (as the first female Supreme Court Justice), Barnard Hughes, Jan Sterling, James Stephens, Joshua Bryant, and Wiley Harker. Note that this film was still in production when real-life justice Sandra Day O'Connor was elected to the Supreme Court, an Paramount rushed out this film to capitalize on it!
