Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly partially trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster also had minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but at some point after it was backed, it was roughly handled and was creased at a slight diagonal near the bottom of the image, running through the very top of the "ME" of the title and into Darnell's shoulder and arm, and through Mitchum's shirt. The fold has diminished over time and while it is noticeable, it is not very distracting (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
