An Unfolded Indian Travel Poster (measures 25 1/4" x 39 1/4" [64 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) Pan Am: India, the 1959 Indian airplane airline aviation travel poster ("Bhangra dance") used to encourage people to use Pan American World Airways when traveling to India, and featuring an image of a men dancing and playing a double-headed drum. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It has spotty discoloration mostly at top and bottom (see our image). It has a few creases and tears around the edges and some fine creases in the image. This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that much or most of the discoloration can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
