He specialized in movies with then-state-of-the-art special effects. Some of his works include: War of the Worlds, When Worlds Collide, Houdini, The Naked Jungle, The Time Machine, Atlantis, the Lost Continent, and 7 Faces of Dr. Lao. He had a series of stop-motion cartoons called "George Pal's Puppetoons". He passed away in 1980 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by George Pal! It is a letter to personal friends, and he added a nice post script, so we feel certain it is authentic, but our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity. It is interesting to note that Mr. Pal wrote this letter in January of 1980, and he passed away in May of that year. Condition: very good.
