An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Only Thing, the 1925 Jack Conway silent royalty romantic love triangle melodrama (based on a story by Elinor Glyn; about a pretty woman who is engaged to the old ugly king of a mythical European country, but a duke falls in love with her, and the king is assassinated, and the head of the revolutionaries falls in love with her too!) starring Eleanor Boardman, Conrad Nagel, Edward Connelly, Arthur Edmund Carewe, and Louis Payne. Note that this was a pretty common plot in movies at this time, but they added a VERY unusual element to the plot, which is that not only is the king old and ugly, but so is his entire family, and all the actors playing the royal family wore outrageous "ugly" makeup!
