He is most famous for his solo non-stop flight from New York to Paris aboard his airplane, Spirit of St. Louis, as well as the kidnapping and subsequent murder of his only son, Charles Jr. There was a documentary about him called "40,000 with Lindbergh" and a one-sheet poster for this survives! Lindbergh passed away in 1974 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this cool candid still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/2" x 9 3/4" [19 x 25 cm]. Condition: fair to good. The still was trimmed around the edges. It was used in a newspaper or magazine and there are paint enhancements within the image, so the image would show better in the printed article, and there are smudges throughout the image, where someone tried to remove some of the paint.
