Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned two examples of this one-sheet, and one of those has been reconsigned to us, so this is still only one of two examples we have ever auctioned! Note that the studios that made serials would often make a separate one-sheet for each chapter, and also one for the whole serial. Sometimes the one for the whole serial would be noted as "stock", as this one is at the bottom, but that just means that it could be used when any of the chapters were being shown, and it is not a "stock" poster in the modern sense (a poster with a blank area where theaters could overprint information for a specific chapter). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss in the right half of the top horizontal fold and in the vertical fold between the top and middle crossfolds, with small paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds and a much lesser amount of wear on the other folds. It had pretty minor border wear Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
