An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Andy Hardy Gets Spring Fever, the 1939 W.S. Van Dyke "Andy Hardy family" romantic comedy ("The lucky seventh Hardy Family hit"; one of the series of "Hardy Family" movies about Andy Hardy, his judge father, and the rest of his family; note that, in the first entries of this series, the judge father and his wife were the center of the movies, and the children had secondary roles, but Mickey Rooney's character quickly became extremely popular, and became the focus of the series) starring Lewis Stone (as Judge Hardy), Mickey Rooney (in the title role as Andy Hardy), Cecilia Parker (as Marian Hardy), Fay Holden (as Mrs. Emmy Hardy), Ann Rutherford (as Polly Benedict), and Sara Haden (as Aunt Milly) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is an odd glass slide. It is a single pane of glass with the image on it and there is a piece of cardboard taped over the front of it to create a "border". We have taken an image of the complete slide and a scan of the image (see our two images). Condition: very good. There is slight smudging on the glass (it is not very distracting, and it could likely be cleaned). The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the slide is in pretty nice condition!
