An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (Learn More)

The Man Tamer, the 1927 Ernst Laemmle silent cowboy western short (from the story by William Berke) starring Edmund Cobb, Barbara Worth, Albert J. Smith, and Eva Thatcher. Note that director Ernst Laemmle was Carl Laemmle Sr.'s nephew, and one of many of this relatives that he "brought over" from Germany. Ernst directed many westerns, but apparently he became homesick, because he returned to Germany and directed a few movies for Universal there, but then he retired from the movies in 1930, and passed away in Hollywood in 1950.
