An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Movie Lobby Card #8 (LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Dangerous Years, the 1948 Arthur Pierson juvenile delinquent kids crime thriller ("Story and Screenplay by Arnold Belgard") starring Billy Halop (billed as "William Halop"), Ann Todd (billed as "Ann E. Todd"), Scotty Beckett, Jerome Cowan, Richard Gaines, Anabel Shaw, and Marilyn Monroe (her very first movie, and she is unbilled on the posters, and only appears on the half-sheet, a scene card, and the title card!)

Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the lobby card was backed onto a very light paper backing (acid-free), that keeps the "feel" of the lobby card similar to that of the original lobby card. Some restorers prefer to paperback lobby cards on to a heavy backing, while others prefer to use a very lightweight backing. The advantage of a lightweight backing is that the card still "feels" like a regular lobby card, but a heavier backing makes restoration easier to do and less noticeable.

Condition: good. The card had stains in the center of the table and the man's sleeve at the center of the card and there were stains in the top left background area. There were a few stains around the edges of the card and some pinholes, creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the card. The card was in fair condition prior to paperbacking, but the image of Monroe was unaffected by the defects. The card was pretty nicely restored. You can see slight signs of the restoration in the background areas, but it is not very noticeable or distracting.
