An Original Vintage Unfolded Polish Special Poster (measures 26 1/4" x 37 3/4" [67 x 96 cm]) (Learn More) 1990 - Hommage A Vincent (literally translates to "1990 - Tribute to Vincent"), the 1990 Polish series of posters ("1853 - 1890") featuring artwork inspired by legendary artist Vincent van Gogh. Van Gogh was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In just over a decade he created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of them in the last two years of his life. They include landscapes, still lifes, portraits and self-portraits, and are characterized by bold colors and dramatic, impulsive and expressive brushwork that contributed to the foundations of modern art.
