An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 45 3/4" x 61 1/2" [116 x 156 cm]) (Learn More)

Les Bidasses s'en vont en guerre (released in the U.S. as "Sadsacks Go to War"), the 1974 Claude Zidi French/Italian/German Les Charlots military war slapstick comedy (about four loser guys who join the military and their comic adventures) starring Jean-Guy Fechner, Gerard Filipelli, Gerard Rinaldi, Jean Sarrus, and Jacques Seiler. Note that this movie starred Les Charlots, which was a group of French musicians who acted, did comedy, and appeared in movies together, and were quite popular between 1965 and the early 1980s. One wonders if Harold Ramis saw this movie before writing his classic "Stripes" in 1981!
