An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 15" x 40" [38 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Two for Tonight, the 1935 Frank Tuttle songwriting stage play acting romantic love triangle musical comedy ("Bing's Biggest Picture!"; abut a songwriter searching for his big break, and then a plane carrying the publisher of a music company crashes and hurts the songwriter, and he gets his break in a romance with the publisher's pretty secretary!) starring Bing Crosby, Joan Bennett, Lynne Overman, Mary Boland, Thelma Todd, James Blakeley, and Douglas Fowley. Note that this was cult star Thelma Todd's second to last movie before her untimely (and suspicious) death at the age of 29. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Richardson Studio Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one (or any other Australian movie paper items for this movie) in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. There are small tears and stains around the edges. There are some extra horizontal folds with some smudges in the top yellow background area and in the bottom white credits area. There is a tear in Bennett's eye, but no paper loss.
