The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, the 1969 Ronald Neame English Edinburgh Scotland school teacher romantic love triangle melodrama ("In the surprising world of Jean Brodie, there were just two men and four girls."; "Out of one Jean Brodie would come a whole generation of Jean Brodies... Exploring sex, society and everything else."; "Music by Rod McKuen"; "Adapted from the Novel by Muriel Spark"; "Based on the play by Jay Presson Allen"; about a very unconventional teacher in a 1930s Scottish all-girls school, and the effect she has on her impressionable pupils) starring Maggie Smith (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Jean Brodie), Robert Stephens, Pamela Franklin, Gordon Jackson, and Celia Johnson. Note that Smith and Stephens were married when this film was released.

Important Added Info: Note that this script is the second draft from January 22, 1968 and the screenplay was written by Jay Presson Allen. Included are four supplements: biographies of Maggie Smith and Robert Stephens from 20th Century-Fox, with five pages of typed notes about those two actors from which the biographies were obviously created. Also included is an 8-page section from Today's Cinema, an English magazine, which has illustrated articles about the movie and a wraparound color cover, with cool different art advertising the movie at a specific English theater. None of these supplements are pictured.

Condition: very good. The brads that held the script together are missing, but they are easily replaced. Otherwise, the script and supplements are in nice conditions. See our multiple images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this script.
