Note that Rita Hayworth plays the mother of the two brothers that the movie is really about, but she got top billing, surely solely on the basis of her star power and that it would increase the box office of the movie. But when this movie was made, she was already showing signs of the Alzheimer's disease that would end her career, and she had great difficulty with her lines. The entire movie is pretty much a mess, and it apparently is all in English, even though it is Italian. It apparently never had a U.S. release, although international one-sheets were printed with the U.S. title, likely for other English-speaking countries. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So they are original stills from 1967, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
