An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 7 1/2" x 9 3/4" [19 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Irene Castle was a ballroom dancer and actress from the 1910s to the 1920s. She was married to fellow dancer Vernon, and their story was later portrayed by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers! Some of her movies include: Patria (in the title role), The Firing Line, and French Heels. Sadly, Castle outlived three of her four husbands. She passed away in 1969 at the age of 75. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Irene Castle! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/2" x 9 3/4" [19 x 25 cm]. Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
