An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Woman of the Town, the 1943 George Archainbaud Dodge City Kansas romantic cowboy western ("Any man's match at any man's game!"; the movie borrows heavily from "Destry Rides Again", and Dekker becomes marshal of a tough town, only in this version Trevor is killed, which causes him to clean up the town) starring Claire Trevor, Albert Dekker (as Bat Masterson), Barry Sullivan, Henry Hull, Porter Hall, Percy Kilbride, and Clem Bevans NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images). Learn More about condition grades
