An Original 1996 (from the first German release of this movie) Vintage Theatrical Unfolded German Movie Poster (measures 23 1/2" x 33") (Learn More) Mutters Courage (released in English-speaking countries as "My Mother's Courage"), the 1996 Michael Verhoeven German/English/Austrian/Irish World War II (WWII) military concentration camp Hungary melodrama (about a man reflecting on his mother's narrow escape from being deported from Hungary to a concentration camp in 1944, and the movie switches back and forth between 1944 Hungary and present day Berlin) starring George Tabori, Pauline Collins, Ulrich Tukur, Natalie Morse, and Robert Giggenbach. Note that director Michael Verhoeven's father was named Paul Verhoeven, and that he himself is exactly five days older than director Paul Verhoeven (director of Dutch and U.S. movies), but he is in no way related to that director!
