NOTE: In this case, the #1 in the title of this sale is not the actual style of the one-sheet (whenever we know the style of a one-sheet we list it for those of you who know which style you are looking for). In this case, the posters from this particular movie were not marked, but because we are selling more than one poster from this movie this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate between the sales, and we did so by marking them "#1, #2, etc.
Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing. After 1980, it quickly became standard for posters to never be folded, and were shipped to theaters rolled in tubes. But this made it far more likely for posters to pick up minor (or major) defects, and it can be difficult to find an unfolded poster from the 1980s in excellent condition. Also note that this is a rare advance one-sheet (note the "8 18 2000" at the bottom of the poster).
