Except the past."; "Based Upon the Novel by Judith Guest"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Donald Sutherland, Mary Tyler Moore (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Judd Hirsch (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Timothy Hutton (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), M. Emmet Walsh, and Elizabeth McGovern (in her first movie role!)
