The company was founded by Chris L. Rutt & Charles G. Underwood, and is best known for its pancake mix and the Aunt Jemima icon that symbolizes them. On June 17, 2020, it was announced that the Aunt Jemima brand would be retired "to make progress toward racial equality." Important Added Info: Note that this ad was removed from the November 1924 issue of The Ladies Home Journal. There is printing on the reverse side of the ad, but we don't picture it, because it is surely of little interest.
