An Original Vintage Print Block (measures 1" x 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" [3 x 4 x 6 cm]) (Learn More)

I Was a Teenage Frankenstein (released in England as "Teenage Frankenstein"), the 1957 Herbert L. Strock monster horror thriller ("Body of a boy! Mind of a monster! Soul of an unearthly thing!"; about a professor who animates a dead teenager who then goes on a killing spree, a clever updating of the Frankenstein story to match the current teen movie craze!) starring Whit Bissell, Phyllis Coates, Robert Burton, Gary Conway (in the title role as the monster), and George Lynn

Important Added Info: Note that print blocks like this were made for a local theater by their local newspaper, and then the ad shown on the print block was printed in the local paper to get people to come to that movie. The print block has a negative image with reversed writing, because the newspaper would show a mirror image of it (and you can see that exact image since someone did put ink on the block and made an impression, and of course you can put ink on the block and make your own!). The public learned of print blocks like these a number of years ago when a pair of women discovered a huge collection of them and brought them to the TV show "Antiques Roadshow", where they were appraised for millions of dollars. But you can purchase one or more of these for a fraction of that amount, because each starts at $1 with no reserve!

Condition: very good.
