An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Deception, the 1932 Lewis Seiler (billed as "Lew Seiler") sports wrestling football romantic love triangle crime melodrama ("A Smart Promoter and a Slick Blonde take a Sap for a Fall!"; "A slick blonde and a racketeering promoter take a sap for a fall!"; "Dazzled by fame - then swept off his feet by a dame!"; "Story by Nat Pendleton"; the old story of a star athlete who becomes a professional to get much needed money, and a beautiful vamp seduces him away from his faithful girlfriend, but he wakes up just in time, and in this case, the sports involved are college football and pro wrestling) starring Leo Carrillo, Dickie Moore ("Courtesy of Hal Roach"), Nat Pendleton, Thelma Todd, and Barbara Weeks. Note that Thelma Todd was only fourth billed, but the producers of the movie wisely recognized that her beauty (and her risque character of the wrestler's mistress) would greatly help sell the movie, and so she is prominently pictured on the poster (and second and third billed Moore and Pendleton are nowhere to be seen; this is ironic, since third billed Pendleton was also the source of the original story for the movie!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: very good. There is paper loss in the bottom left blank corner. Otherwise, the still is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
