Date Sold 9/29/2020Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Autographed 3" x 5" [8 x 13 cm] Index Card (Learn More) Jan-Michael Vincent was an actor from the 1960s to the 2000s. He made his mark in movies in the early 1970s (including in Walt Disney's The World's Greatest Athlete), and he was memorable in many other 1970s movies, including Big Wednesday and The Mechanic. Drug and alcohol problems derailed his career, but he made a major comeback in 1984 in TV's "Airwolf". But sadly, his comeback was only temporary, and more drug and alcohol problems combined with a major car crash cost him his looks and much of his mental faculties. His life is surely a tale of caution regarding the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and he was a shadow of his former self when he passed away in 2019 at the age of 74. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Jan-Michael Vincent! The index card could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that this is one of many items that was consigned to us by legendary Tarzan collector Phil Petras. Mr. Petras was one of the greatest Tarzan fans ever, and he became good friends with several of the actors who played Tarzan, and over many decades, starting in the 1970s, he would meet with actors and actresses who had appeared in Tarzan movies, sometimes on the sets of films, and sometimes at fan gatherings. Prior to his recent passing, he consigned most of his collection to us, and we are currently auctioning many of his autographed items, sometimes from actors who played Tarzan or Jane, and sometimes from actors who appeared in one or more Tarzan movies (but the items we are auctioning may or may not be from their Tarzan films). Mr. Petras naturally did not have "certificates of authenticity", but we feel certain that the autograph on this item, and every other item we are currently auctioning from his collection, is surely authentic! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
