Gang War, the 1940 Leo C. Popkin black African American New York City Harlem gangster crime thriller starring Ralph Cooper, Gladys Snyder, Reginald Fenderson (billed as "Reggie Fenderson"), Laurence Criner, and Monte Hawley. Note that the IMDb lists this as a Toddy picture, but it is yet one more case where the IMDb is completely wrong, because actually, like many other late 1930s and early 1940s black movies, Toddy picked up the distribution rights for this movie, and then re-released it as one of their own in the 1940s. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: fair to good. There is tattering and paper loss around the edges of each card with some tape repairs on the front and back. There are scuffs and smudges and some tack holes scattered throughout the cards. There is writing in the blank border at top and on the back of the middle card pictured.
