An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Luck in Pawn, the 1919 Walter Edwards silent romantic artist comedy ("By Marvin Taylor"; "Scenario by Alice Eyton"; about a girl from a small town who dreams of being a famous painter, and she goes to see a famous artist, but he tells her she doesn't have enough talent, but he introduces her to his millionaire friend, and she ends up more successful in love than in art; the word "pawn" in the title refers to a piece of jewelry she pawns so that she can afford to take the trip to see the artist) starring Marguerite Clark, Charles Meredith, Leota Lorraine, Richard Wayne, and John Stepling NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
