A Deluxe 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] RE-STRIKE Still (Learn More) Mary Pickford was a Canadian actress from the 1900s to the 1930s. She was one of the top silent actresses, who specialized in playing young girl roles as an adult, and she was called "America's Sweetheart", and when she married Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. in 1920, the country rejoiced (and the country mourned when they divorced in 1936!). Some of her movies include: Little Annie Rooney (in the title role), Sparrows, My Best Girl, Coquette (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role), and Tess of the Storm Country. She passed away in 1979 at the age of 87. Important Added Info: Note that our consignor obtained this still (which is printed on a deluxe paper stock) many years ago, but it is extremely likely that it is not an original studio-issued still, and it is almost certainly a "re-strike" still created by a dealer in the 1960s or 1970s (someone who had access to the original negative). It is high quality, but please do not bid on this still unless you can accept that it is almost certainly a re-strike still, and is almost certainly NOT an original. Condition: very good to fine.
