An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) Big Western Thriller, the circa 1940s stock poster ("News - plus comedy cartoons") used by theaters when showing movies. The poster has a blank area where the theater owner would put in the name of the particular movie they were showing at the time, thus getting several uses out of one poster! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that while we have never seen this unusual stock three-sheet before, we have seen another one that was somewhat similar. That one had "Special Feature Attraction" at the top and "also selected shorts" at the bottom, and just like this one, it had a place for the theater to glue a one-sheet, and text above and below it! These two are the only such "stock" three-sheets we have seen. Note that this three-sheet was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: fair to good. There is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. There are some creases and several tears along the folds that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some folds, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. Learn More about condition grades
