An Original Vintage Danish Movie Souvenir Program Book (measures 8" x 12 1/4" [20 x 31 cm]; 16 pages) (Learn More) John Sturges' The Hallelujah Trail, the 1965 John Sturges Native American Indian cowboy western comedy ("ADVENTURE"; "INJUNS"; "FUN & BOOZE"; "HILARIOUS"; "WOMEN"; "WILD"; "They'll show you how the West was FUN!"; "Now see how the West was fun! Ride the big, wide adventure-packed Hallelujah Trail"; "Cinerama sends you roaring with laughter and adventure down The Hallelujah Trail"; "See how the west was FUN!"; "Now Cinerama sends Burt Lancaster Lee Remick Jim Hutton Pamela Tiffin and you roaring with laughter and adventure down The Hallelujah Trail"; "Screenplay by John Gay"; "Based on the novel by Bill Gulick") starring Burt Lancaster ("as Col. Gearhart: Compared to the Colonel, Custer had it made. Custer's Indians were just bloodthirsty."), Lee Remick ("as Cora Massingale: She had looks, brains ... and a real hot temper-ance"), Jim Hutton ("as Capt. Paul Slater: who'd been fighting with his horse ever since he joined the cavalry."), Pamela Tiffin ("as Louise Gearheart: the farmers daughter had nothing on this wild colonel's daughter."), Donald Pleasence ("as Oracle Jones: He had the true pioneer spirit... all 100% proof of it."), Brian Keith ("as Frank Wallingham"), and Martin Landau. Note that this movie was shot in "Ultra Panavision", which was a widescreen process developed by the people who had made Cinerama, and there are posters for this movie that bills it as being in "Cinerama" (because it was made by the "Cinerama" people), but it was not made in the previous three-screen Cinerama process, and the word was dropped from all other posters, making us think that the studio was told to quit using it since it was clearly deceptive. The "Cinerama" posters are far more rare than the other posters. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. You can use these images to determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image, but realize that there are some other pages you are not seeing.
