Date Sold 3/5/2020Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Song of the City, the 1937 Errol Taggart Italian-American life-lesson seafaring musical melodrama ("It's Dynamite!") starring Margaret Lindsay, Dean Jagger (billed as "Jeffrey Dean"), J. Carrol Naish, Nat Pendleton, and Dennis Morgan (in his fourth credited movie role). Note that Dean Jagger made one silent movie in 1929, and then had a handful of starring roles in the early to mid 1930s (with a full head of hair!), but he never really hit it big. In the 1940s however, he became a character actor (now bald!), and he had a distinguished career. Oddly, he was billed in this one movie only as "Jeffrey Dean", for unknown reasons (perhaps MGM did not like the name "Dean Jagger"!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There are pinholes in the center of the card. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
