An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 20" x 28" [51 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Famous Monsters of Filmland was a horror film magazine from 1958 to 1983 (and revived in 1993 and 2008). It was published by Jim Warren and edited by Forrest J. Ackerman, and was the introduction to classic monster movies for a huge number of collectors and fans, including many who went on to become famous names in the movie business! Each issue had full-color covers and heavily illustrated black & white stories inside. The magazine was so popular that multiple conventions have taken place, featuring Forrest J. Ackerman and famous guests! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a large and some small diagonal creases at upper right (see our image). It has a few creases and tiny tears along portions of the lower right edge. It is otherwise in generally nice condition.
